BudgetBeautyID: How I Do My Untrimmed Brow

Helloooow all!

Me, the budgetarian make up hunter, is back on this BudgetBeautyID with the budget make up things!

Now, since I'm that javanese girl who has a tradition not to trim/shape/whatever my eyebrow until i'm married, my natural brow is a disaster!!!! I mean, it's shapeless, no arch, berantakan, etc. and i'm only 20 now so it's gonna be a loooong looong time until i get a proper eyebrow shape. If i could, i'd love to marry someone like right now and my brows would be lookin way better.

Well, I'm not that eyebrow expert that will be able to tell you how to do your eyebrow nicely and perfectly. Here, i just want to share how i, a girl who's dying to have a nice lookin' brow but unfortunately i can't until i get married, try to turn my disaster brow into well hm not so disaster brow, not good enough, but not as bad as how it should be.

Here it goes....

Here is my natural eyebrow. I did tell you it is a disaster and it really is.

The first step i do is prime my brow with this The Balm Put A Lid On It eyeshadow primer

You may wonder why on earth i should put an eyeshadow primer on my brows?

Well, i apply it on my brows so the eyebrow pencil will glide on your brow smoother and more pigmented than ever. It is also to make my brow powder more pigmented and last longer. You should really try this.

The next step is...

Line your brow with eyebrow pencil. Here's the importance of eyebrow pencil when you have messy brows, to create the shape of your eyebrow the way you want it to be. It's okay that there are still brow hair that is out of the line just leave it there, because the point is to shape the brows.

I use this Bourjois Sourcil Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown to line my brows. It is priced at IDR 99,000. People told me that Viva Eyebrow Pencil is da bezt a budgetarian make up hunter could ever get, but trust me, this Bourjois Sourcil is never a let down. Texture is great, glides on smoothly, and lasts long. 

Next is...

Fill the eyebrow with eyebrow powder (i'm using a dark brown eyeshadow since i left my eyebrow powder) fill in with your favorite eyebrow brush and yes, mine look so messy. But i'll leave it like that. 

I'm using this Revlon Matte Single Eyeshadow. I usually use NYX Eyebrow Cake but this one is just fine, oh yes, and i love using sleek eyeshadows to fill my brows because they are great, better than my NYX. And if you want to fill your brow with eyeshadow instead of brow powder, make sure it is MATTE. Because it'll be freakin' weird if your brow is somehow shimmering lol.

After that i brush my brow with spooley or just brow brush to soften the harsh line and it will look like this 

The next is the most crucial part for someone who has untrimmed brows

USE A CONCEALER TO COVER the hair outside your framed brow, whether is above or under, just cover it with concealer and make sure the concealer matches your skin tone.

And by the way, i am not using a concealer for this, instead I'm using a foundation.

It's my Revlon Colorstay Foundation in True Beige. This foundation is the real deal when it comes to coverage! So it's close enough to concealer. The downside is that it's not so lightweigjt.

Oh, and if you ever want to use foundation as a concealer, don't blend the foundation right after you put it on the desired spot. Wait for at least 30secs to 1 minute so that the consistency of the foundation gets thicker and the texture will be more like a concealer, then blend it, and it will have a better coverage.

Next step is blend the foundation (concealer)

Make sure it is blended well. If you think it's not covering enough, then add some more, and blend it again. I blend it using make up sponge, but actually finger will do. After that, don't forget to set the confealer with setting powder!

So guys, this is the final look of my brow

I know it's not the perfect kind of brow that almost all girls are having right now. But at least it doesn't look as bad as my natural untrimmed and undone brows. I'm actually not that happy with the result because I'm still longing for that archful and perfffect brow and there's nothing i can do about it i just want to get married as soon as possible and get my brows fixed. But I'm still a proud javanese gorl tho'😆
